Bike Details
I have owned this for 6 years but reducing my collection. Incredibly smooth and powerful CB900F. Handles far better than I was expecting, particularly impressive on longer distance journeys. This one is eligible for historic class (not requiring tax and mot) in a couple of years which means it will cost just the price of an insurance to have it on the road (around £80 a year for me)
As you can see the bike looks striking and virtually everything is standard apart from some upgraded steel brake hoses and a paint refresh around 6 years ago which still looks fantastic.
It started easily after being in storage for 3 years but original battery is dead. I have put on a larger more powerful one from another bike which can stay on. I also have a set of standard silver wheels with used tyres and a fairing which can go with the bike. Not MOT’d but will pass easily as everything is working perfectly and tyres, exhausts, chain and sprockets all very good /some parts are still virtually new ie. complete exhaust system.
Obviously as with all these classics the CB is appreciating and I have seen a couple on ebay in similar nice condition at £5995 to £6595. (see pics) Still cheap as an alternative to the £10,000+ CBX 🙂
Would consider a swap for a gsxr 750/1000 k4,k5 etc or fireblade or similar.
